Upon viewing this, I had two thoughts:
1) It speaks to the state of the culture and society today when you think that this man and his preaching were what people tuned into 50 years ago on TV. Today, they get the secular humanist snake oil of the irreverent atheist Bill Maher, the new age paganism of Oprah Winfrey and the hedonistic moral relativism that is MTV.
2)It broke my heart to see this when i think at how so many preachers of all denominations shrink back from telling it like it is, afraid to offend. Afraid to offend man.... when it is only the judgement of ONE that will matter in the end, and by not speaking the truth in love, it is he they have offended... and they will answer for all the lost souls who could have been saved if only the truth they had been entrusted to speak was spoken in fullness. Ezekiel 33 comes to mind.
This talk is almost 40 minutes long but worth every minute you will spend watching it.
